I will be writing up some picks for this Saturday/Sundays massive 9 game EPL slate on FD, which has late swap now. These plays are designed more for single entries and cash over the large field GPPs. If you are a monthly or season NBA/MLB member, message @DailyRotoSharks or @xBenJamminx on Twitter to get added to the Private Slack Chat where we all discuss our favorite plays and strategies each day.

First for those new to FD soccer, Clean Sheets and Saves are vastly important more so that Goal Conceded and Wins are not factored in. Key will be at the bottom for abbreviations.
Tom Heaton ($7300): He comes in as the most expensive keeper on the slate but possibly in the best positon; on the road against TOT. Yes, they don’t have their stud striker Kane but they have arguable one of the best midfields in the EPL. The Spurs will still push forward, even with defenders, and look to take 3 points easily.
Ben Foster ($6300): Foster has the same appeal that Heaton does here but he is at home against ManU. They have forces the most saves on the season in the EPL.
Heurelho Gomes ($6600): Gomes is a GPP play here for me. He gets a weak SUN team, who isn’t offensively gifted but will fire some shots in there. Heaton raked up a cool 25 FD points last match and Gomes has same potential.
Other Options: Asmir Begovic ($5700) (Courtois maybe out sidelined with hip injury), Hugo Lloris ($6400)
Ben Davies ($5600): I like the TOT defenders this week. They have been pushing forward, especially with Kane out and typically it is Davies. He has goal potential but it is not high so don’t go expecting that. He should rake up all the peripherals like CC, TKL, INTs, etc.
Michael Keane ($6100): Defenders against TOT are a great option this season. The Spurs will push forward which will create opportunities for Keane and the other BUR.
Harry Maguire ($6600): Maguire is likely a chalky pick this week and for good reason. He will likely help mark Carroll. He is a weekly 20plus FD point guy.
Gael Clichy ($5700): Clichy is one of my favorite options this weekend. He will be on the left side and help take care of all those runs by Bellerin. At his price and the chance to rack up INTs and TKLs, make for a good combo.
Other Options: Cedric Soares ($5900), Danny Rose ($5900), David Luiz ($6300), Jan Vertonghen ($5700)
Christian Eriksen ($9800)/ Dele Alli ($9600: I am combing these two in the same write up. They will both look to lead the charge for TOT with Kane out. They both have tremendous upside with solid floors. If TOT scores, one of these guys will likely be involved in some way. Personally, I like Alli but it is splitting hairs here.
Andre Ayew ($5900): He is my favorite cheap play here. He has scored in 3 of his last 4 matches. His floor isn’t the safest but his upside is amazing at his price. I will likely avoid him in my cash line unless I need salary relief.
James Ward-Prowse ($6500): Ward-Prowse has been solid for SOU in the last 5 matches. He has gone north of the 30 FD point border in 3 of those. He constantly touches the ball and will have some CC in there for the assist upside. He isn’t their first choice to net a goal but he has the potential.
Other Options: Henrikh Mkhitryan (8200), Riyad Mahrez ($7800), Huddlestone will miss this match so look for his replacement to be cheap, Willian ($7400)
I didn’t write any 5 digit guys this week but not because I didn’t like them but I prefer paying up elsewhere. I will not fault anyone for taking Aguero, Sanchez, or Pedro. Long is your cheap play for strikers this weekend.
Jamie Vardy ($8500): Vardy was a must write for me. This guy has been simply amazing since the fired their coach a few weeks ago, he has 5 goals in 6 matches, including one in World Cup Qualifying. He is very goal dependent so don’t expect him to be a safe pick.
Joshua King ($8900): King is in outstanding form as well here. He has 4 straight matches with 25 plus FD points and 5 goals in that stretch. He is heavily involved in their attacking and I like him to continue that here.
Jermain Defoe ($7400): Defoe is in jeopardy of having an impressive streak come to an end. He has scored a goal in every month since Jan 2016. He is goal dependent but his ownership could be depressed this week. I like him in GPPs over Cash.
Oumar Niasse ($8700): Niasse was a love in my last article and he was a lock for me, naturally he didn’t start and then subbed in at the 70th minute mark and mashed two home…DFS tilt. WHU has given up a lot of goals at home for a goal difference of 27. He will have the opportunities here. He should be starting again and he will likely be in my lines again.
Other Options: Shane Long ($7600) (Gabbiadini could be out), Andy Carroll ($8600), Benik Afobe ($7200), Marcus Rashford ($10400), Son Heung-Min ($9000)
TKL – Tackles
CC- Chances Created
SOG – Shots on Goal
INT – Interceptions
W – Win
CS – Clean Sheet
SV/90 – Save per 90 mins
GC/90 – Goals Conceded per 90 Mins
