Happy Monday everyone, I hope you had a successful Weekend of NFL DFS. Now its time to get back to the NBA Grind as we have a pretty large Monday Slate today.
It’s very important to pay attention to trends throughout the NBA Season. With that in mind, I will try to highlight a few players for you that have been averaging more fantasy points per game over their last 3 games vs their last 10 games. Every situation is different so I’ll try to explain WHY these players may be seeing an uptick in recent production.
Last 3 Games: (43.87) +9.11
58.5 — 34.3 — 38.8
Over his last 3 games, Teague has been carrying the Pacers offense. Scoring 30, 21 and 20 real points in those games. He has put up 58.5 – 34.3 and 38.8 fantasy points in those games. The Overtime game last night vs the Thunder clearly gives him a boost when looking at these numbers so keep that in mind. Another thing to keep in mind and try to understand is “why” Teague has been performing so well recently. Paul George hasn’t played since Nov 16th and in his absence Teague has been asked to carry more of the offensive load for his team. When George is off the court, Teague’s usage increase from 25% up to around 28% so keep an eye on this going forward
Last 3 games: (27.93) +8.46
27.9 — 22.1 — 33.8
Richardson has really started to shine in the Heat Offense. Partly due to the increased minutes because of injuries to Justice Winslow. His price across the industry is still pretty low so pay attention to the Heat injury situation as we continue into the season. Any night where Winslow is out or limited and Richardson is starting he’s going to be a viable salary saving option.
Blake Griffin (PF) Los Angeles Clippers
Last 3 games: (47.87) +6.09
48.1 — 50.4 — 45.1
The Clippers are rolling this year and Blake is a major reason for their success early in the Season. He’s always been a great player but this year he’s really picked it up on both ends of the floor as the Clippers are looking like one of the best teams in the NBA. He has a 27% usage rate so you shouldn’t have to worry about him getting the job done night in and night out. He’s usually a lock for the Double-Double bonus on Draftkings and I believe he is a great secondary option at PF at a discounted price relative to Anthony Davis.
That’s all I’ve got for now, but there are many more players on the list who are seeing an increase in Minutes and Fantasy Points per game.
