Week 2 Fanduel Cash Plays
Hello to the DRS Nation!
For those that are looking for an edge on FanDuel, I will provide you some interesting players to consider.
Cam Newton ($9000) – NFC Champs lost their first game against a rookie QB. Cam and company are not the happiest campers and will take their frustrations out on the 49ers. San Fran is not a good team and Cam will have his way with them. Unfortunately, the 49ers have the high pace of game mentality which will allow the Carolina offense to roll and roll often. Don’t be surprised if Cam is involved in 4 TDs.
Phillip Rivers ($7700) – Rivers will have no choice but to throw so I like his chances for a solid performance. Aaron Rodgers was able to do an adequate job on the Jaguars upgraded defense last week so I expect rivers to be average at worst. What I like about Rivers the best is his price tag. You get a guy that has a floor of 250 yards and 2 TDs for under 8k. I see a lot of the “River to Woodhead” screens coming.
TJ Yeldon ($6500) – Chris Ivory has been ruled out. This is a pure volume play. Yeldon had 20+ carries in his first game and the Chargers made Spencer Ware look like Priest Holmes last week.
DeAngelo Williams ($7600) – It plays so well in the Steelers offense I sometime think why do they need Le’Veon Bell. Anyways, he plays a Bengals team that allowed Matt Forte to have a great game last week. Since Williams is the focal point on an offensive juggernaut, I like to say roster him and never look back.
Antonio Brown ($9200) – His price tag went down this week! How is that possible? Listen, he had a very good week last week with Josh Norman covering him so imagine his upside this week. Yikes!
Kelvin Benjamin ($7500) – If you are going to choose Cam, the question is who should we stack him with? That’s easy, his big wide receiver that will get double digit targets in this game.
Willie Snead ($7200) – I suggested to roster him last week and the folks that followed my advise were rewarded handsomely. 172 yards and a touchdown. I am going to the well once again as he faces a Giants defense that does not have a true pass rush. The Saints should go off and Snead seems to be Drew’s’ guy.
Jesse James ($4500) – He will be low owned but I expect him to break out in this game. His first game in the league was not noteworthy as he amassed 31 yards, however he did have 7 targets! If the Steelers are going to score often, James will be a vital piece to their success.
Houston Texans ($4900) – KC got fortunate last week that the Chargers allowed them to score often late in the game. Houston will not let that happen and will put the KC offense in bad spots throughout the day.
