Stacks are essential to most DFS players success during MLB season. This article will highlight some promising stacks in prime spots to go off. Stack’em up, Sheet Squad!
The Cubs are one of the hottest hitting teams in baseball since the All Star break and the get a potential stellar spot against R.A. Dickey. Dickey is a knuckleballer that never knowing what you will get so the risk is worth it here. All Cubs are in play here but I am leaning the RHBs though. Dickey has a .334 wOBA to RHBs which is higher than vs LHBs. Lock in Willson Contreras is he is starting in the 4 hole. He is comfortable there and crushing right now. Kris Bryant and Javier Baez are in play here. LHBs I am looking are Anthony Rizzo and Kyle Schwarber. It is hot and the wind is slightly blowing out. Dickey has a high SIERRA which is better to look at over ERA for a knuckleballer.
Nick Pivetta is a target on early for me. He can either really good or really bad. I am leaning for the bad Pivetta here. He is a reverse splits pitcher of sorts with a wOBA of .430 and ISO of .336 which is telling in his 280 IPs this season. He is probably chalky but Giancarlo Stanton is a lock for me. Marcel Ozuna and J.T. Realmuto are both guys I will look at. Obviously Justin Bour and Christian Yelich are options and one will make a Stack or two for me.
It is a small slate so don’t sweat ownership too much. Get as many good plays in good spots as you can.
Good Luck tonight Sheet Squad! Hit me up with any question on my twitter or in the Slack Channel for subs!
